Food Stamps in Four Hours - The Big Paradigm Shift

It is not really a question of if the US is due for a major sea-change, a paradigm shifting event that will rock the very core of culture, government, politics and societal make-up. The fact is we are in the very midst of such an event.

Here is a story discussing a Spanish language program called "food stamps in four hours".

At the moment I write this piece the national debt ticker at the bottom of this page reads $8,549,863,912,138 (that is but a brief snapshot in time but you get the idea)

Bill Bonner asserts that the entire US economy has been more or less supported over the last five years by real estate equity. The Fed and major economist are beating the current dip in the housing market will amount to nothing more than 2%. But what if it is more. But I will leave the bigger picture for a moment, let us return to this food for coming here program.

The "food stamps in four hours" program is not designed just for legal immigrants. In fact the groups that advocated this program for the last several years want to make it clear that any immigrant can come forward and get what is "rightfully theirs" what ever their legality status may be.

We cannot blame the national debt on legal or illegal immigrants - but we can say that principles are at play here. Taking the public trust and distributing among the masses is a tenet of communism. This is wealth redistribution - on a small scale to be sure, but redistribution all the same. Charity belongs in the hearts of man and is most properly administered by churches. No level of government, federal, state or municipal is empowered to redistribute wealth. No level of government is charged with taking care of the poor and hungry.

I mentioned above that there is a sea-change coming underway. There truly are people in government and corporations that are working right now today to make their dream of a North American Union a reality. How better to do that than to cross populate cultures and languages? What better strategy than to make Mexican problems US problems so that some day in the near future it is plausible for politicians to propose broad and sweeping solutions that cut across the old national boundaries.

Does it not strike you odd that our president and his followers preach about the dangers we face abroad, how we must be diligent at home but they have done nothing at all to secure the borders? Bush is fully in the camp of those that want to make the NAU a reality. This camp crosses party lines (like there is much of a difference there anyway).

Everyone that opposed NAFTA on principle was branded a nut, those few that speak out today with the revelation that there are actually people that desire the NAU and are working toward that end are labeled conspiracy theorist. That term is less effective that calling someone a racist but it seems to work all the same. Once a person is labeled such their ideas can easily be ignored and silenced.

Here is a good discussion of the ambiguities in the origional LA Times article about this program.
